Zucchini Slice | Hiding Veges the Yummy Way

Do you struggle to come up with healthy lunchbox options other than sandwiches/wraps and fruit? Or do you need an easy way to add some jam packed protein and veg to your toddler’s diet? I have been making this Zucchini Slice for Bebe since he started on finger foods, it’s so quick to make and is a great way to use up left over veg. It’s also freezer friendly, so I often freeze lunch box sizes for kindy days.

Hello Lovelies!
Here is this week’s Wish List… I am already collating a list of the pieces that I will be investing in once Bub is here and I am in non-maternity clothes. Multi-purpose pieces that allow easy breastfeeding access and are forgiving for post-baby tummy are a must, and this gorgeous hued dress from Little Party Dress looks just perfect! The pretty print also camouflages lumps and bumps and the deeper buttoned neckline makes it perfect for bf. It’s definitely a hero piece and only needs some gorgeous tan accessories like easy to slide on (no hands!) sandals and a nice big tote that will fit all the extras I’ll now be carrying. Plus cute sunglasses, because eye bags are real in #MumLife!

Bebe’s Farm Themed Birthday Party

And just like that Bebe is five!

This year the theme was Farm (we do a theme each year) because Bebe LOVES animals. Gingham, plaid, red and animals were abundant… well maybe not the animals… being 8 months pregnant AND because Bebe invited is ENTIRE kindy class, we decided that a baby animal petting zoo would be the best entertainment for the party and unfortunately the company decided not to show up!

Maternity Shoot with Family

Hello Lovelies!

Today I’m so excited to share with you some of the gorgeous photos from our maternity/family shoot with Kym Renay. Kym took newborn photos for Dianne (Mum Buns & Heels) and I’ve known ever since then that I wanted her to do our family photos and Bub’s newborn photos. Kym’s style is relaxed, candid and she has an amazing eye for photography, I’ve loved every single photo of hers that I’ve seen.

Hello Lovelies!

Grab yourself a glass of champagne and get ready to meet the gorgeous Alex from MammaBelle Maternity! I had the pleasure of meeting Alex (and her two mini-me’s) when she asked me to model for her recent photoshoot, and it’s safe to say I think she’s amazing!

The gorgeous Alex and her two little Minis who are completely adorable angels!

Well I’ve made it two thirds of the way! I’ll admit that during the first 20 weeks it felt like I wasn’t going to. Between the all day nausea and vomiting and subsequent reflux, it felt like a never ending process. But once I hit the half way mark it all started to subside… hallelujah! (Read about the first trimester here)

We’ve had lots of lovely milestones, first myself then hubby then Bebe being able to feel the Bub kick. Seeing the Bub at the 20 week scan (sucking his/her thumb). And finally the anxiety about loss has subsided.

Because I had a prominent bump so early I think it looks like my boobs are shrinking not that my belly is getting bigger LOL!

Hello Lovelies!
Here is this week’s Wish List… we’re less than a month out from Bebe’s 5th birthday, which is the milestone he’s been marking as the baby coming AFTER. This means we’ve put off doing too much baby or nursery prep, which is HARD! So as his birthday draws nearer and I am able to start planning the nursery, I’ve been thinking of the style and colours I’ll be using this time. As we don’t know the gender and I am a lover of this shade anyway, grey is the theme and simplicity is the style since the nursery isn’t a big room.

Hello Lovelies!

It has been awhile since my last 9 PIECES | 9 OUTFITS  Post (I aim to do them seasonally), being quite sick for most of this year thwarted those plans!  However the silver lining is that I have had ample opportunity to test out the pieces in the Maternity Capsule Wardrobe edition! Even though it feels like you’re pregnant for an eternity, you either don’t have the inclination or budget to spend on a vast wardrobe that you’ll only wear for 6-9 months. I’ve pulled together a mix of maternity and non-maternity pieces that will see you through your whole pregnancy and beyond. Shoes and accessories are key in a capsule wardrobe, and whilst not included in the nine pieces, I have kept them to a minimum with a high rotation to show versatility. Investing in a collection of good quality accessories will give you even more options when styling.

Firstly let me introduce you to the nine core pieces:
