One item I struggle to find for myself is the elusive ‘nice top’, in a current world of cropped half-shirts it’s even harder! For me I like arm coverage, tummy coverage (without being too long and frumpy), an open neckline that flatters the boosies, versatile colour and print…. apparently that is too much to ask for!

But Mabel & Woods released this gem of a top last night, the Cali Navy Spot Top, and it ticks all the boxes! As it is a print I decided to style it up a few ways to show you that you don’t need to be scared of a statement print blouse! Use my code CSVP10 for 10% OFF!

Keeping things simple I styled the Cali Blouse with my Best & Less High Rise Soft Touch Jeans and tan accessories, my Status Anxiety Art of Pretending Crossbody and old Verali heels.

This time I styled the outfit by picking up on the white print, it is still warm enough in Brisbane for shorts and these white linen shorts (last year Glassons) are casual yet dressy. Adding white sneakers creates a more casual look but you could definitely add wedges instead for something more dressy.

Don’t be afraid to pair colour with colour! These Betty Lane Colette Wide Leg Pants in a soft pinky beige are the perfect neutral colour. Adding ankle boots and a fedora creates a more Autumnal look for the outfit. Fedora is old Feather & Noise and boots are Sandler Dart from last season.
