We’re back with Same Size Different Shape and are lucky to be sharing The Self Styler with you again! Last time we shared some gorgeous, Summery frocks and this time we’re bringing you Autumn/Winter styles! My code CSVP10 is still active and will get you a cheeky 10% OFF!
As a quick recap, Dianne & I are both a size 12 however Dianne is a pear shape and 158cm with D Cup while I am a hourglass shape and 165cm with E Cup. We are wearing a size 12/M & S/M in all pieces.
First up are they fabulous distressed Hallie Jeans paired with Artie Knits. When we first opened up the Hallie Jeans (Sz12) we were concerned they wouldn’t fit us… they looked tiny! But they’re stretchy (and yet somehow still suck you in comfortably in all the right places!) and fit perfectly! We love how high rise they are and the dark wash, perfect for a dressier look. I am wearing the black and Dianne is wearing the peach, but there’s also a gorgeous sage colour as well! I love the V-neckline of the knit, it’s not always easy to find knits with a V-neckline! The Artie is a cropped length, but not too short – you can see that it covers my waistband comfortably, I have a longer torso and larger boosies than Dianne and it still sits at a nice length. The blouson, boxy style sleeves are balanced out perfectly with a ribbed, fitted long cuff and we love that it is longer at the back! We both styled this outfit with ankle boots and I added a fedora.
Next up is the gorgeous Nylah Maxi Dress (currently Sold Out but you can sign up to get an email notification when it is restocked) we are in the size M which is a 12-14. I found this size perfect for my larger bust, however Dianne being a pear shape and smaller bust felt like she could have sized down to a S/8-10. Again we both chose to style with boots however I chose tan boots and belt with brown based sunglasses, picking out the warm tones in the print, while Dianne chose black boots and crossbody bag. The buttons on the front are functional, making it breastfeeding friendly.
Lastly we layered the Artie knit over the Nylah dress – the perfect way to get extra wear out of your frocks in colder seasons! I chose to wear the Peach and style it casually with a tan crossbody and white sneakers while Dianne chose to dress hers up with black ankle boots and waist belt.
