It’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

You lovelies have requested I bring back Same Size Different Shape, so I roped Dianne into heading into Jeanswest with me for a little try on session last week. You know I’m a BIG fan of Jeanswest, and I adore their jeans especially so we made sure to try on a variety of pieces. For a refresher we’re both a size 12 but can wear a 10 depending on cut and fit [Dianne is 158cm & I am 165cm]. We’re both wearing 12s in everything unless there was only one size 12 left in store, in which case one of us is in the 14.

A great pair of black jeans  is essential for every wardrobe, they can be worn casually or dressed up with a killer pair of booties or heels. These new Freeform 360 Curve High Waisted Skinny 7/8 Jeans [$129.00] are my absolute fav! I have last year’s version in a 12, but they’re so stretchy it’s best to size down. We’re both in a 10 and it’s the perfect fit. The babies will be coming home with me soon! We’re also wearing a new season Maxine Square Neck Blouse in Deep Green Leopard [$59.99]. It’s a lovely lightweight viscose that skims and flatters, we’re both in the 12 which is perfect for my E bust and sits nicely over Dianne’s hips.

It was true love the moment I laid eyes on the Roxy Utility Jumpsuit [also available in Black $89.99]. I adore a playsuit, that’s no secret, and the cute utility style and Tencel fabric just made this playsuit even better! We’re both in the 12 and I find it a perfect fit but Dianne would personally get a 14 for additional length (other than that the fit of the 12 is perfect for her also).

I featured the Emilia Stripe Dress [$99.99] in my From Coffee to Cocktails | 20 Valentine’s Day Outfits blog and it was a firm favourite! Dianne and I are both in the 12, you can see how it sits firm across my bust and how it sits a little more relaxed on Dianne, I would say if youre a DD+ Cup you will need to size up for bust room in this gorgeous number!

OBSESSED with this outfit. We both are. This is a very US outfit. Every time I wear my Alison Mom Jeans you guys always ask where it’s from and I have to say sorry it’s Jeanswest but sold out! WELL! Now I bring you the non-distressed version! Meet the Ava Mom Jean [$99.99] the same flattering high waisted mom style jean BUT without distressing and with a slight stretch to the denim (the Alison was a rigid denim). I’m in the size 10 as I have no bum or hips and can size down in this style, Dianne is in a 12 to accomodate her hips and found it the perfect size. We’ve paired it with the Pippa Puff Sleeve Tee [$39.99] Dianne is in a M and I’m in a L as there was only one M left but I would stick to a M. I love the sleeve detail that elevates the look and feel of a tee and jeans combo, and am regretting not buying this in ALL the colours! I did buy the Ava Mom Jeans though as they’re currently 25% OFF!

The gorgeous Steph Print Dress [$69.99] is the same fabric as the Maxine Top above and so soft to wear! I’m in the 14 as they only had one 12 left, however would stick to a 12. I’t s avery flattering length and style and love the adjustable tie waist. This would look great with anything from flats, to white kicks, to heels! So versatile.

I hope you loved our first 2020 #SameSizeDifferentShape try-ons, head to my stories to see videos of us trying on the items (saved to Jeanswest highlight). And let me know where/what else you’d like us to try on!

  1. I’m sad Jeanswest near me is closing 😢 as they have gone into receivership. I’m going to stock up on jeans as they will be gone in 3 weeks. Love the outfits you and Dianne wore especially the green dress xx
