As you know by now I am a little (lot) obsessed with linen. I am so glad that it has stayed in vogue and doesn’t look like it’s going any where soon!
Jeanswest has recently released a Linen Love Edit and the quality and styles of the pieces are phenomenal! I went in store to try on a lot of the range and instantly fell in love. If you follow me on Instagram you can head to the Jeanswest Highlight to see the try ons. The pieces that really stood out to me were the matching Blazer, Cami & Shorts in a gorgeous white and neutral stripe featuring wooden buttons. It inspired me to do a Summer Linen Capsule for you!
The THREE Key Linen Items in the Capsule are:
Jeanswest Peyton Yarn Dye Blazer (size reference I am in the 12)
Jeanswest Peyton Yarn Dye Stripe Shorts (size reference I am in the 12)
Jeanswest Maddie Button Thru Cami (size reference I am in the 12)
The Complimenting Items in the Capsule are:
Jeanswest Joni Slim Raw Edge Jean (size reference I am in the 12)
Jeanswest Essential V Neck Tee (size reference I am in the M)
Verali Shoes Jamira Block Heels (size reference I am in the 38/7)
Betty Lane Garland Leather Flats (size reference I am in the 38/7)
Superga 2750 Efglu Pure White Leather Shoe (size reference I am in the 38/7)
Oscar Wylee Hunter Sunglasses
Cool, casual and chic. Pairing the Shorts with a crisp white tee and neutral leather slides creates an effortless outfit that can easily take you from errands to brunch.
Adding the matching blazer and swapping the slides for sneakers changes the entire look of this outfit while still keeping it casually chic.
I will admit this is my favourite look from the entire capsule, I’m obsessed with playsuits and this has the look while the convenience of a two piece. Adding the cami and heels creates a dressy playsuit look.
Swapping out the shorts for jeans and adding the white sneakers in again creates another casual outfit that is perfect for play dates, coffee dates and more! I’ve tied the cami here but if you like more tummy coverage it sits at a lovely length at the front and also has adjustable straps.
Swapping the Cami for the white tee creates the ultimate outfit… jeans and a white tee! My favourite #mumuniform! Technically there’s no linen pieces in this outfit but it’s such a classic!
Who says light denim can’t be dressy? A lot of people struggle with denim in Summer but the trick is to choose a lighter wash, it’s not as heavy and goes with all the gorgeous fabrics and colour for Summer. Adding the blazer and heels creates a modern dressy outfit that would be perfect for dinner, event or drinks with the girls.
Naturally all these pieces individually would work seamlessly into your existing wardrobe, think rusts and mustards, blushes and navy, darker denim washes and greens.
Which was your favourite outfit?
