Hi Lovelies,

Before Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a surprise parcel in the mail of some Thin Lizzy products, and I’ve been testing them out for a few weeks so I can give you a review on how I found them! I have a combination skin with large pores on my T-Zone and am early 30s (oh and dark circles courtesy of early bird children!).

Firstly let’s start with some pics of my completely bare face so you have a better idea of coverage and colour…

Product 1: Loose Mineral Powder (Minx)

I am really impressed with the coverage of the powder, it’s light and you don’t feel like you have anything on. The coverage is easily built up with extra circular motions with the brush and product, and doesn’t feel drying at all. This is a great everyday product, it doesn’t contain SPF though so make sure you add that to your routine!

Product 2: Flawless Complexion Liquid Foundation (Minx)

I was really impressed with the coverage of the liquid foundation, I would say a good medium coverage that is easily built up with a little extra product. I’ve applied with blending brush, sponge and fingers and it goes on perfectly each time. I do find (as I do with ALL liquid foundations) it lasts better with a primer underneath due to my oily T-zone, but even without it does well in a Queensland Summer!

Product 3: Compact Mineral Foundation (Minx)

This is the compact version of the loose (Product 1) and has the same effects and longevity – just in a convenient travel/touch up compact. I’ve used it over the liquid foundation in these photos for a little extra coverage and to set the liquid, which makes it last longer on my combination skin.

Thin Lizzy Compact Mineral Foundation $39.99

All in all I was really impressed with the quality and longevity of all the Thin Lizzy products, and the colour match was perfect! They have a great colour guide to make choosing easier, but also have a colour swap guarantee in case you accidentally order the wrong shade.

Have you tried Thin Lizzy before?
