Hello Lovelies!

At the end of the school holidays we nipped up to the Sunshine Coast for a mini break. My boys LOVE the beach, it’s our dream to move down the coast one day. We were invited to stay at Gemini Resort at Caloundra in a two bedroom apartment overlooking Pumicestone Passage.

Gemma at the front desk for friendly, informative and so helpful and very quickly we were on our way to the South Tower. Our apartment was spacious, airy, clean, comfortable and perfect. A huge kitchen, spacious bedrooms, ensuite and bathroom, large living and dining area and of course a massive balcony with gorgeous views of the beach and pool area. They also have one bedroom and family (three bedroom) apartments.

Yes that’s Bebe in the pool… he was beside himself as soon as he saw the water slide and could. not. wait. to get in! So very soon we were down in the pool, which is extremely child friendly! The section Bebe is in is nice and shallow, there’s a water fountain in the middle, and then it has a deeper end with a deck area that the kids can jump off of. There’s also a heated spa, barbeque (undercover) area and heaps of sun lounges all around the pool. The best bit? There’s a café ‘My Beach Spot’ next to the pool that does takeaway coffees you can take into the pool area! They really know their demographic at Gemini Resort, what more could a Mama want than laying on a sun lounger with a coffee watching the little ones splash about safely!

We had breakfast at the café both mornings and the service was fantastic, the coffee delicious and the food fabulous. The view overlooking the pool was amazing too! The also do tapas which we will be checking out next time we visit!

The other fantastic thing about Gemini Resort is it is right on the beach, there’s a gate that open onto a pathway and after that path is the beach. No crossing roads! So safe with little ones. It’s a nice safe bay too, Bebe and Bambino had an absolute blast on the beach.

On the morning we left, Bebe asked why we couldn’t live at Gemini Resort. I think he’s in love! We had breakfast and a swim before checking out and driving back home to Brisbane. We were lucky to have mostly good weather while we were visiting, but if it had been raining there’s a game room as well as movies for free and rent in the room. Everything you could want is catered for!

We absolutely loved visiting Gemini Resort and will definitely be back, it’s the perfect family friendly resort.
