Steph is an incredibly hardworking and devoted Mama of 3 beautiful boys, who is an absolute DELIGHT to chat with and the more I get to know her the more I am just blown away by her! CSVP: What was the inspiration for starting Frenchie + Boss?

F+B: Much like many mums after having children, I felt a little lost and unsure of my personal style. I no longer wore the ‘corporate’ look and heels everyday, but wouldn’t have felt at ease in my ‘gym gear’ day in and out. My body had changed dramatically after four pregnancies so I didn’t know what shapes and silhouettes suited me anymore.
Frenchie+Boss came about after experimenting; buying and regretting way too many things that didn’t suit me and realising that the quantity of clothes in my wardrobe just meant too many confusing decisions I didn’t need each morning.
I wanted to show how easy it is to create mix and match looks to take you from ‘desk to dinner’ or ‘play date to date night’ depending on your lifestyle, looking stylish and feeling great with quality basic pieces.

CSVP: You have NO idea how much I identify with this!!! I’m sure SO many Mamas reading this are nodding their heads and thinking about ALL the things they bought and have regretted. No wonder all your pieces are just. so. gorgeous! Ps. I love that you use my Play Date to Date Night sentiment, I am so passionate about showing Mamas how to utilise their gorgeous pieces day in day out (or night out) to make the most of them and to feel amazing at all times! 

CSVP: Who IS Stephanie?

F+B: Mum to 3 beautiful boys, 5, 9 and 11yrs, a SAHM FIFO wife, living in organised chaos! One of 3 sisters from a single parent family we grew up pretty independent, so I hate having to ask for help. But, I have learnt to accept I can’t do everything and am truely grateful for our support network.
A generous soul, I try to give of myself what I can.
A strong woman! Somehow, from somewhere I have discovered an inner strength that came into play when our children were diagnosed with a serious heart condition.

CSVP: I am incredibly blown away by you Steph, you are such a beautiful soul and I had no idea of the health conditions your GORGEOUS boys had. You have such an incredible strength and I am sure they feel so incredibly blessed to have you as their Mama.

CSVP: What sets F+B apart from other brands?

F+B: Frenchie+Boss is based on a seasonal capsule wardrobe, with each season’s range combining well to create the perfect capsule wardrobe. These pieces are practical, comfortable yet stylish and will take you from ‘desk to dinner’ or ‘play date to date night’ with minimal changes and looking effortlessly chic.

CSVP: I especially love that all your pieces are classic and timeless, yet incredibly luxe. I have the Celine Dress and Odette Tee (both in Indigo) and although both quite simple pieces, the fabric and finishes of them make them just stunning and so so special.

CSVP:What does your typical day look like?

F+B: Oh boy, no day is ever the same, but I do try and start it the same by waking up early enough to a have a quiet coffee in bed, a quick scan through Insta and gather my thoughts before the mad rush. Then it’s ‘go, go, go’ getting the kids ready for their day; school and kindy drop off, play dates, specialists appointments, running the house and devoting time for Frenchie+Boss, as well as restocking snacks and lots of baking to accommodate allergies and growing boys appetites. As my youngest still has another year of kinder, Frenchie+Boss work is done around the kids like so many mums in business. I manage all the day-to-day things from planning the weeks social media, packaging orders, creating our newsletter, website updates and planning for the next capsule release.

CSVP: If you could only wear ONE beauty item everyday, what would it be?

F+B: I tend to take a simplistic approach to traditional beauty products – less is more (really I’m just not that confident with it). I’ll always add a swipe of lipstick and a spritz of fragrance before heading out the door.

CSVP: What is your coffee/cafe order?

F+B: A large half strength latte with 1 sugar….I know, you may think what’s the point? But having had a long break from coffee drinking from my first pregnancy till a couple of years ago, I’m working my way up.

CSVP: Ha ha! No! I never judge anyone’s café order! I usually drink decaf (I KNOW SHOCKING) but it’s so I can drink more coffee without having the shakes lol, it’s all about the tast!

CSVP: What is your Must have piece from F+B?

F+B: Our Hélene pants; they are silky soft and super versatile. They have a relaxed fit so are easy to wear while playing with your little ones, but pop on your favourite heels and a smart top and you’re date night ready!

CSVP: What do you do for self-care/relax?
