I hope you loved last week’s Play Date to Date Night blog, featuring the Jordan Blue Floral Dress from Little Party Dress.
This week I’m styling the Blossom Kimono Wrap from My Bargains Boutique. I love an easy throw on kimono that can dress up an outfit and/or add some coverage to take a casual summer outfit of a tank/cami and shorts/skirt from beach to bar.
As soon as I saw the Blossom Kimono Wrap it was true love, especially as it can be worn open or as a wrap dress, got to love a hard working piece! The kimono style sleeve adds drama and the pattern is just to die for, plus the fabric is a silky soft rayon which feels like heaven on.
Summer is literally around the corner, and the closer to the top of Australia you are the closer Summer is to hitting… in Brisbane we’ve already had quite a few hot days already (where are you Spring???) So it’s time to tan the legs and bust out the shorts and skirts. Adding the Kimono Wrap is a great way to add some extra coverage for breastfeeding too.
[ My Bargains Boutique Blossom Kimono Wrap (M/L) $59.00| Kmart Crossband Scuff Sandals $8.00 | My Bargains Boutique Ripped Denim Girlfriend Skirt $49.00 | Quay Australia My Girl Sunglasses $55.00 (Clear/Silver Sold Out other colours available) | Boater Hat (No Longer Available / Similar available from You Rock Style JOSIE BOATER HAT – BLACK $34.95)]
I was extremely pleased to find that the M/L wrapped perfectly over for a dress (I’m a 12/14 and currently an F cup thanks to breastfeeding). With the gorgeous print doing all the work with this outfit, some simple heels were all that were required to take this to date night!
