Hi Ladies!
If you are anything like me, it’s a struggle to find the perfect bathers. As if it wasn’t hard enough to shop for a new cossie each season, if you have a larger cup size your choices are immediately reduced to 0.1% (statistics may or may not have research to back them up ha!).
As an E Cup, I need underwire, and as a Mama I need extra length and support for my mid section, and as a woman I want it to be CUTE!!!! That’s extremely hard to find! Especially the length! Also, I personally am not a fan of florals and am pretty picky about prints. Monochrome, stripes, black… they have my heart.
This season I shopped for the first time on Zodee Australia for my bathers, and initially chose a FREYA SWIM Tootsie Underwire Bandeau Tankini Top in black (now sold out but still available in a Red version). I will admit that I doubted my choice after ordering, but decided to wait until it arrived and see how it fit. Fate intervened and the incredible customer service team promptly emailed me let me know (very apologetically) that they had stock error, it was out of stock and they weren’t receiving more in, would I like to choose another item? I hopped back on and had another look (the website has a fantastic search function where you can narrow results to your size and cup size) and the PANACHE Anya Stripe Bandeau Tankini Top jumped right out at me. I love that there were almost 70 results for a 14E tankini top on Zodee when I looked!
When the Anya Tankini top arrived I was not disappointed, the cups were true to bra size, the straps removable (for an even tan or to cross over or even make into a halter) and the length was perfect (it’s even adjustable). It even has side ties and ruching which camouflage a tummy perfectly. As any quality swimwear is, especially when catering to larger busts, the top was a little bit of an investment at over $100, so I pair it was a black pair of high rise bikini bottoms with tummy control from Kmart Australia that only cost $12!
I have worn this combination together this Summer, and it’s comfortable, flattering and easy to wear when swimming with a toddler. I’d highly recommend them! Do you have a larger bust? Where do you shop for your swimwear?
